5. Stamped the houses from the Fairy House set. i used Memento ink - Rich Cocoa

6. Stamped the lovely little butterflies from the Butterflies set. I used 3 different shades of Distress ink - Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet and Broken China

7. Decorated the corners using the Snow Shrub stamp

8. Added some sequins, Nuvo  and Glossy Accents drops.

Poppies card - Lavinia World Challenge #24

Spring is almost here and I don't know about you, but for me, with these times, things seem to get a different dimension. I feel that things will definitely change after all this situation will end.
I have had some struggling in creating a card, for days I could not find my mojo.

But when I finally managed I came up with this card, which is my inspiration for you for the new Lavinia World Challenge - #24 :)

The card recipe
1. I cut the card bases from 300gsm white card stock.
2. Added two strips of pink washi tape with hearts patterns.
3. Cut the base panel: neenah white paper - 220gsm
4. Heat embossed the background script stamp with Golden Heat Embossing powder and Versafine ink
5. Using Distress Oxides - Seedless Preserves, Victorian Velvet and Bundled Sage, I colored the background and then with a linen cloth I wiped the embossed part to restore the golden shine.
6. Stamped the poppies using Distress inks - Abandoned Coral, Pine Needles and Peeled Paint
7. On a piece of thick velum I heat embossed the fairy from the set - I used glittery red embossing powder, I have had it in my stash for years
8. I die cut the stamped part using an oval nesting die
9. Added the fairy on top of the flower and added the panel on the background one using double adhesive foam tape
10. As final touches I added some Glossy Accents drops.
And ta da! This is it :)

I decided to leave the card with no sentiment. It is the type of card that allows you to use it for so many occasions.

Anniversary card - Angie's Digital Stamps April challenge

Welcome to Angie's Digital Stamps April Challenge!

It is time for a new challenge and there is a twist for this months - Spring

I have a cute inspirational card for you!

For my card I used the Daisy May stamp

I wanted to make a mixed media card so I chose some pattern paper from my stash and started to make the card.
I wrapped the front panel from a spring themed pattern paper and distressed the edges.
Using a lace border puncher created the side lace and glued on top of the front panel.
Using a nesting die I die cut the smaller panel on which I added the stamp which was previously printed and colored using Polychromos pencils.
I also added a die cut bird in order to fit the twist of the challenge.
As final touches I added flowers and some Nuvo drops here and there.
The sentiment means Happy Anniversary, it is in Romanian :)

Now it is your turn to give it a try!

It is a monthly challenge where you can win 2 of my digi stamps free! Any project, using any image, from anywhere is welcome! Adult oriented projects are allowed as well!
Happy crafting and stay safe!

Hello Friend - Simply Create Too Challenge April

Let's hope it will soon be over and we will be able to get back to normal, whatever that might be!
And there is time for a new monthly challenge over at Simply Create Too!

For my card I just played with some sponges and Distress Oxides.
I stamped and colored the elephant and the monkey from a stamp set from my stash and the flowers too.
I used regular colored pencils for it.
For the sentiment I used a border cutting die and I cut the bottom part of the front panel. The word friend is also die cut from purple card board. Glued everything together and added some gems in the middle of the flowers.
It is a very easy to make card, you should definitely give it a try and also make sure to enter our challenge to win the monthly challenge!
