Aurora burst - Lavinia World Challenge #27

Hello, helo
it is the third Thursday of the month and this can only mean one thing:

a new challenge over at Lavinia World Challenge - #27 :)

Here is my inspiration for you, hope you like it and you will give it a try! This time I played with yupo paper and alcohol inks and some alcohol lift ink :)

The card recipe

1. I cut the card bases from 300gsm white card stock.
2.  Cut the base panel: yupo paper
3. Played with Alcohol inks and drops of rubbing alcohol.
After watching Tracey's tutorial I decided to give it a try at the alcohol lift ink technique so I added a line of ink and then using the brayer I spread it downwards
4. Using a piece of Neenah white paper I pressed and imprinted the pattern. i was really impressed with the result.
5. Stamped Aurora with Black Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
6. Using the small stamp from the Star burst set I added the upper pattern, this time I used Archival black ink
7. Using a wrapped piece of card stock and wilted violet distress ink I added some shades on the bottom part of the panel
8. As final touches I decided to use a white gel pen and add outline the main stamp.

nothing else ... what do you think?

LW#26 Flying Sirius

Lovely friends,
May is here and I really hope it will be a warm and peaceful month!

And because it is the first Thursday of the month, we also have a new challenge over at Lavinia World Challenge - #26 :)

Here is my inspiration for you, hope you like it and you will give it a try!

The card recipe
1. I cut the card bases from 300gsm white card stock.
2.  Cut the base panel: watercolor paper on which I played with my oval gel plate, Archival ink purple, some misti spray drops.
3. using a wrapped piece of card stock i played with some Distress inks and managed to get the clouds effect
4. I stamped the Sirius using Versafine ink and then heat emboss it with dark blue embossing powder.
5. Stamped the Orchid flowers with Broken China and Rusty Hinge Distress, the Vines with Rusty Hinge and Antique Linen Distress Ink and on top i added three berries from the Berry wreath set.
6. Added some purple and yellow gems here and there and I outlined the Pegasus with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer.

And ta da! This is it :)

I decided to leave the card with no sentiment. It is the type of card that allows you to use it for so many occasions.

What do you think?

New baby - Angie”s Digital stamps challenge

Hello, hello
it is the beginning of a new month and obvs the beginning of a new challenge over at Angie”s Digital Stamps.

It is a monthly challenge where you can win 2 of Angie”s digi stamps
Any project, using any image, from anywhere is welcome! Adult oriented projects are allowed as well!

My inspiration for you today is a very simple card i made using the STAR BABY ONSIE.

I used a sky blue card base on which I added the main panel from white card base die cut with a nest cutting die.
I also cut a smaller panel from pattern paper which was lying in my box for ages. Using a onsie cutting die i cut the bigger one from blue card stock and then printed, colored and added the digi stamp. I glued plenty of blue confetti stars just to add a little sparkle. I also added a bow tie and the baby sentiment, cut from mirror card stock.

And ta da, this is the result.
Really hope you like it and you will give it a go! It is very easy and who knows, you might also win some cute digis!

Until next time, take acre and stay safe!
