Autumn Fairy

Hello everyone,

I want to share with you my first project as a DT member on an amazingly talented group Goha Digital Stamps.

I chose to work with the Autumn Fairy. It is a gorgeous digi stamp and gives you infinite possibilities to work with.

Here is how I did:

1. Cut a card base of 10.5 x 14.5 cm.

2. Printed the image on coloring friendly white cardstock of 220g. I printed the image on a A5 size.
3. Colored the image using Polychromos pencils. Even if it took me quite some time, I really enjoyed the details. I tried to blend everything as best as I could.
4. Cut an oval shape from a pinkish cardstock.
5. Glued the Fairy using foam tape.
6. Final touches: Glossy accents for the berries, some Nuvo drops here and there and I punched some leaves to give an extra final touch.
I did not want to add anything else because the stamp is gorgeous and I just wanted to leave it like this.
This is the final result. Really hope you'll enjoy it!
Stay tuned for next projects!
Until then, stay safe and huggies all

Try Stampin challenge #382

Autumn is amazing!

Don't you just adore the colors and smell of the upcoming winter?

Well because of this, I decided to make an autumn birthday card and because I also had the optional sketch from Try Stampin' what better reason did I need :)

For this card I experimented something.

I have had in my stash creamy cardstock with some scratchy pattern on it. A friend of mine gave me the idea to use Distress inks and a brush to emphasize the pattern on the cardstock.
So, this is what I did.
I took Distress Oxide - Faded Jeans and Distress Ink - Old Paper and using a thick brush I just slightly brushed the cardstock. Sooo in love with the result.
Now that  I finished the background I started designing the elements from the sketch. I die cut 3 squares which had some sort of a border. Then I stamped and colored using Polychromos, an acorn, a cupcake and a sentiment.
Next I cut 2 banners and made a fish tale.

Time to assemble everything together ...

There it is:

- sketch #382 - optional - die cuts

I also enter this for the HeartCraft Paper Challenge

Autumn Foxy Card

Hello everyone,
today's project is my first project made as a Guest DT for TryStampinOnTuesday. I will be designing for them from October to December 2018. Stay tuned and check the news, they have some very cool challenges going on.

It is for Challenge #381.
Requests were to make a card using a sketch and to add Thread, Ribbon or Twine.
So, I searched through my stash and decided to make an Autumn Card.

How?
Well ...
Step 1 - cut a 14 x14 cm card base, I used 160g/mp2 cardstock - cream colour from DacoArt, scored it in half using the DacoArt scoring tool

Step 2 - Stamped and colored using Polychromos pencils, the cute Foxy from DoCrafts Everyday mini clear stamp. The image is stamped on a piece of Strathmore Toned Tan 118g/mp2 sketch paper - medium surface. I blended the coloring with the blending pencil from Carand'ache and then added small drops of white ink using my Unibal Signo pen.

Step 3 - Cut 2 pieces of Hobby Flora Leaf Garland ribbon - from my stash.

Step 4 - Cut a piece of 13.5 x 8 cm of white cardstock and distressed it with Distress Oxide - Vintage Photo ink.
From the same type of cardstock I die cut a tag and embossed the sentiment using Gold Embossing powder from Whispers. Added a piece of brown thread, at the end.

Step 5. I stamped, colored and fussycut 3 acorns from the same stamp set with the sentiment. Added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

Step 6 - On the cardbase I added a 13,7 x 13,7 cm piece of patterned paper from Deco Time. I glued the leaves and then the white distressed piece - using double sided sticky foam. Added the stamped image, the acorns and a small piece of washi tape matching the color theme of the card. Glued the sentiment and done.

- the sketch for the card :)

I love fall most of all

Hello everyone,
today's post is about my first project/s made as a DT member of the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog.
Because Fall is here, this is a very autumnal project.
For this I used amazing digital stamps from Time for Tea.
I chose Nuts for you and I Love Fall.

I decided to make 2 cards after printing different sizes of the digital stamps.

Card no. 1
I made the background using Distress Oxide - Forest Moss and Distress Ink - Tea Dye, and added white acrylic splashes using a toothbrush.
I added a die cut in the shape of tree trunks - from my stash.
The images are colored using Polychromos Pencils and as a final touch I added white dots using my Uniball pencil.
The sentiment is partially embossed using the Versamark embossing pen.
Glued all together and added glossy accents for some shine.
And ta da :)
Final result!

Card no.2

For the second card I decided to make a tunnel card using a cutting die from my stash.
I used pattern paper for the background panel and digital stamp elements from the 2 sets - also colored with Polychromos and fussy cut.
I really enjoyed working with these stamps.
If you are interested in purchasing them, you will find the link at the end of this post.

Hope you like my projects and huggies all, stay safe until next time :)
