4. Cut the tree trunks using a die from my stash, I cut them from black thick card stock and glued them on the stamped panel

5. Cut the 2 fairies from the Tutti Design set, I used gold glitter paper, which i made using a thick white card stock on which I put a layer of double adhesive tape and then added gold glitter :) fairy dust all over my working table

6. Glued the 2 fairies on the tree trunks - for dimension I used foam double adhesive tape

7. I wasn't 100% happy and I thought there was something else missing so it just popped up to add the 3 hearts just to show that cupid fairy is sending some love to the fairy wondering in the forest :)

#126 Scrapy Land Challenge - Christmas card

Howdy friends,
time for a new challenge over at Scrapy Land :)

And of course that I have a new Christmas card for you. I just love this time of the year. For my project today I am using gorgeous tiny cutting dies from Jeanine's Art collection - Frosty Ornaments, Christmas branches

Card Recipe:

1. Card base - 300gsm white card stock - plied dimension 10.5 x 14.5 cm

2. Front base panel - 10 x14 cm watercolour paper on which I splashed Nuvo Shimmer powder - Falling Leaves and Green Parade and after it dried I added some splashes of Cosmic Shimmer Mist - Sunlight Mist. I absolutely love how it turned out :)

3. Cut the leaves and the berries and the small poinsettia using green and red card stock.

4. Glued the small elements in a sort of bunch, leaving some leaves outside.

5. I added the berries using Nuvo Drops - Red Berry and some golden 3d paste over the flowers

6. Stamped the sentiment - Merry Christmas in Romanian, and then cut the tag with a rectangular cutting die. Glued down using double adhesive foam tape

And finish! It is pretty easy and simple to make it so you could easily give it a try!

Album foto/ Photo folio - Taylormadecards4u project

Hello, hello
so excited to share with you today an awesome project i made using the gorgeous Santa's Workshop Passport Kit - Digital Kit from Taylormadecards4u.

For the template of the base of the album I was inspired by a post from Scraps for Sanity and the rest is my interpretation.

Because Christmas is quickly on the way, I want to have special gifts for my loved ones.
I started to enjoy designing albums rather than simple cards, of course I still make those too :)))
A small album will just be that extra something to brighten someone's holidays with photos showing unforgettable moments.

My project today is such an album. The cover is decorated with a red poinsettia, a die cut sentiment and a photo pocket. On the front of the pocket there is a gorgeous ephemera on which you can write your wish list. Cute, right?

The album is tied with 2 strips of green ribbon and I decided to make it look like a suitcase. :)

On the inside there are plenty of pockets and small signatures in which you can add photos, messages or any other thing you consider proper for such a folio. You can also add a voucher, a card or even money.

The pocket in the middle is big enough for all these. For my display, i added small tags which are actually ephemera from the kit which I printed in a full fit page setting.

Then there is the bottom part, which also has plenty of space for photos and messages. Here I fussy cut some elements from the ephemera and stick them down. I also used some snowflakes stamps to decorate the panel.

I really had fun assembling all the pieces on this folio. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and Monica from Taylormadecards4u always designs gorgeous supplies for us to play with.

Other materials I used: border punch, some Distress Ink - Vintage Photo and Dusty Concord to distress the edges, pattern paper from my stash, a silver die cut ornament, other die cuts from a old scrap box.

All the images from the kit are so great and you can make so many beautiful projects with them. I hope to have enough time to make some cards too :)

I also have a short youtube video -
you can see exactly how it opens :)

Make sure to check out Monica's page and shop where you will find all these beauties.
Until next time, stay safe, take care and be creative :)

#13 Lavinia World Challenge - Christmas card

Hello, hello
how is everyone? Hope you all started making your Christmas cards, presents and so on :)
If it is Thursday, it is also time for a new challenge over at Lavinia World Challenge .

It is the 13th challenge :)

My inspiration for you for today is another Christmas card. I made it using two of the most beautiful Christmas stamps I have :) It is the Christmas Night stamp and the Christmas Eve

Card recipe

1. Cut the card base from a 300/gsm white card stock. 10.5 x 14.5 cm folded.

2. Cut a smaller panel from 80 lbs white smooth Neenah paper

3. Distress oxide - Salty Ocean - blended background leaving a white oval in the middle

4. Cut the window panel using a cutting die from my stash - I used 160 gms ivory card stock

5. Black heat embossed the Santa stamp

6. The fairy Christmas tree is stamped with Pine Needle Distress Oxide ink.

7. I added some colored gems on the tree and colored the presents underneath it.

8. Using some brown and white twine I made the window lock :)

9. As a final touch I splashed everything with white acrylic paint and decided to leave it with no sentiment :)

And this is it! Really hope you like it!

November already!!!! Oh my, time does fly! I have already started my Christmas card making and because it is Wednesday it is also time for a new challenge over at  Scrapy Land, #125 actually :)

For you today, I have a Christmas card I made using different supplies that I will tell you all about in the recipe below:

Card Recipe:

1. Card base - 300gsm white card stock - plied dimension 10.5 x 14.5 cm

2. Front base panel - 10 x14 cm on which I blended Distress oxides: wild honey, ripe persommon and faded jeans :)

3. Cut the background panel using some silver card stock from my stash and the beautiful cutting die from Jeanine's Art - Frosty ornaments, which is unavailable at the moment, but you can also use this one - https://www.scrapyland.com/products/jeanines-art-dies-frosty-ornaments-frosty-frame?_pos=61&_sid=0699914d1&_ss=r&variant=20635985215576
 4. I also die cut Santa and the reindeer using white card stock and the cutting die from Tonic Studios kit :) If you don't have it you can use anything from here- https://www.scrapyland.com/search?q=sleigh.

5. The sentiment is from the same kit from Tonic and I white heat embossed it on a black piece of card  stock.

6. As final touches I added the mistletoe flower which i made using die cuts from X Cut. It is an older set, but you can definitely find something to match. - https://www.scrapyland.com/search?q=x+cut+leaves
